Center for Combustion Energy at Tsinghua University Invites Outstanding Talents to Join!

The Center for Combustion Energy (CCE) at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China (http://www.cce.tsinghua.edu.cn/) is a world-class platform for research, teaching and international exchange in combustion, energy and interdisciplinary sciences. It is committed to promoting sustainable energy in China and internationally.

CCE has an established reputation in the fields of combustion chemistry, combustion physics, turbulent combustion, complex flows, multiscale modeling and simulation, and advanced measurement and diagnostics. To further expand its research capabilities and promote academic excellence, CCE is now recruiting outstanding talents at the professor, associate professor, and assistant professor levels. The main research areas for recruitment include, but are not limited to:

1.Intelligent Energy and Power Systems (e.g., AI and big data for combustion energy and power systems, digital twins, industrial software, advanced sensing and measurement techniques)

2.Advanced Energy Storage and Materials (e.g., chemical energy and bio-fuel storage, hydrogen storage and embrittlement, materials for batteries and photovoltaics, catalytic combustion)

3.Advanced Power Systems (e.g., electric/plasma propulsion, UAV propulsion, advanced gas turbines)

4.Extreme Combustion (e.g., supercritical combustion, micro- and hyper-gravity combustion, hypersonic combustion)

5.Extreme Fluid Physics (e.g., flow under extreme conditions, interfacial fluid mechanics, micro- and nano-fluidics)

6.Fire Science and Safety (e.g., wildland, mine and urban fires, battery fires, new energy vehicle fires, energy storage safety)

Applicants should have a doctoral degree, substantial research experience, and outstanding research achievements and potential.
