Dr. Xiaoqing You was appointed to be an associate professor of the Center for Combustion Energy/ Department of Thermal Engineering in November 2011.

Dr. You received her Bachelor and Master degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2008. She was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley from 2008 to 2011. Dr. You received the Bernard Lewis Fellowship Award from the Combustion Institute in 2008. Her current research is focused on reaction kinetics and kinetic modeling of fuel combustion.
