Dr. Bin Yang joined the Department of Thermal Engineering / Center for Combustion Energy at Tsinghua University as a professor in December 2012.

Dr. Bin Yang received his PhD from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2006. He continued his combustion research on renewable biofuels and traditional fossil fuels at Cornell University, Princeton University, University of Southern California, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories from 2006 to 2012. He joined the Center for Combustion Energy/Department of Thermal Engineering at Tsinghua University as a professor in 2012. His current research is focused on experimentally and theoretically study of the combustion kinetics of biofuels and fossil fuels.
